The third General Assembly committee SOCHUM also known as The Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian Committee, strives to address the most urgent global challenges impacting refugees and displaced populations. This year, delegates will put their heads together to solve various problems that refugees face in their daily lives. Participants will delve into the systemic racial discrimination and racism against refugees to prevent these issues from increasing. Furthermore they will negotiate over the ongoing Ukrainian refugee crisis stemming from the Russo-Ukrainian War. If you are passionate about defending refugee rights and eager to lead the way toward a more just and inclusive future, we invite you to join our SOCHUM committee. Come be a part of the debate and help shape solutions to these critical global issues at our conference. We look forward to all your insightful ideas in HaydarpasaMUN’25!
